Canada Provincial Nominee Program

When setting up your Express Entry profile, you can select one, several, or all provinces of interest for residency. Provinces access candidates who’ve flagged their jurisdiction, picking those with the right mix of education, experience, language skills, and other criteria. Selected candidates receive a Notification of Interest in their online account.  

To proceed, candidates apply directly to the province via a separate portal—some provinces also require eligible candidates to apply for nomination upfront. Once approved, the provincial nomination is added to a new or updated Express Entry profile.
